Music presenter and interviewer Neil Griffiths is back with another season of his podcast, The Plug, this time in partnership with podcast company Podshape.

The podcast sees Griffiths sit down with actors, bands, artists and comedians for "unedited and unplugged conversations".

Last year, he chatted to Paul Kelly, Jet's Nic Cester, PNAU's Nick Littlemore and Jaguar Jonze, among others.

The new season kicks off tomorrow, on Thursday February 10, and will feature Illana Glazer, Ike Barinholtz and Korn.

Griffiths noted the difference a company such as Podshape could make to his podcast offering.

"I'm super proud of what we've been able to do with The Plug in six or so months, but after talking with the team at Podshape and being a huge fan of their shows, getting the chance to work with them for the new season was an easy decision," he said.

"We've got some awesome guests in store for season two, so I'm rapt to have such an awesome team backing The Plug this time around - other than just mum for a change."

Katie Mattin, Podshape's co-founder and creator, said she and co-founder Jay Walkerden were looking forward to seeing the "already great" podcast continue to grow.

"Neil is an experienced and engaging interviewer with a bunch of interesting personalities on the hit list to get on and chat," she added.
