Billie Eilish’s Aussie/NZ headline shows draw over 30k
Eilish sold out every show she played on her Aussie tour.

The five headline shows that US teen sensation Billie Eilish played in between her Groovin The Moo festival shows reached 33,000, promoters Laneway Presents and Chugg Entertainment reveal.
She played Auckland Spark Arena (April 24), Hordern Pavilion Sydney (April 26), Margaret Court Arena Melbourne (May 3), Riverstage Brisbane (May 7) and Fremantle Arts Centre (May 10).
All were sold out, with Finneas the opening act.
The promoters said, “Selling out to gigantic demand within minutes of going on sale in February, Billie Eilish’s star is on a meteoric rise.
“Playing 300 capacity venues on her debut Australian tour in 2017, followed by 2018’s national Laneway Festival and slightly larger rooms on her return visit, Eilish’s trajectory has been a sight to behold; the artist selling out arenas in record time just 18 months later.”
When the 17-year-old arrived in Australia, her debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? was at #1 on the ARIA chart.

Six singles were in the Top 10, a record previously held by Ed Sheeran.
Official figures are not available for Groovin’ The Moo but it is roughly estimated that each of the travelling festival’s six stops rom April 26 to May 11 drew an average 20,000.
That would mean Billie Eilish was seen at least by an extra 120,000 Australians this year.
