Billie Eilish 3D Concert Film Release Date Pushed Back
'Billie Eilish: Hit Me Hard and Soft' will now be released on May 8th via Paramount, as revealed by James Cameron this week.

The Billie Eilish 3D concert documentary has been pushed back.
Billie Eilish: Hit Me Hard and Soft will now be released on May 8th via Paramount, as revealed by James Cameron this week.
“We’re refining the cut; dialing in cool, new 3D tech; adding some special behind-the-scenes we know you’ll love. @hitmehardandsoftmovie will now release Friday, May 8th. Worth the wait!” Cameron wrote on Threads and Instagram.
The release had been set for March 20th.
On the last night of her tour in November, Eilish said, ”This is one of my favorite tours everrrrrr and being able to capture it and co-direct this film with [James Cameron] has truly been a dream come true,” she wrote. “Can’t wait for you all to see it.”
The first trailer for the film dropped in December — watch below.

The concert film documents Eilish's record-breaking tour, which concluded last month after 106 shows spanning four continents. Beginning in September 2024, the Hit Me Hard and Soft tour represented a significant milestone as her first major run of live performances without her brother and collaborator Finneas by her side.
Cameron, renowned for his technological innovations in cinema, promised an unprecedented viewing experience. "We're using tech that's never been used before," the director stated in the trailer. "No one's shot a concert film on this scale before."
Eilish first teased the Cameron collaboration during her Manchester performances last July, though she remained deliberately cryptic about the project's scope. "Basically, I can't say much about it," she told the Manchester crowd. "But what I can say is that I'm working on something very, very special with somebody named James Cameron, and it's going to be in 3D."
The Hit Me Hard and Soft tour supported Eilish's third studio album of the same name, which was a chart-topping hit around the world in 2024, including in Australia and New Zealand.
