Billie Eilish has unveiled the first trailer for her highly anticipated 3D concert film, Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour (Live in 3D), marking a groundbreaking collaboration with legendary filmmaker James Cameron.

The immersive cinema experience will arrive in theatres on March 20th, 2026, capturing the scale and intimacy of the 23-year-old artist's most ambitious tour to date.

The concert film documents Eilish's record-breaking tour, which concluded last month after 106 shows spanning four continents. Beginning in September 2024, the Hit Me Hard and Soft tour represented a significant milestone as her first major run of live performances without her brother and collaborator Finneas by her side.

Cameron, renowned for his technological innovations in cinema, promises an unprecedented viewing experience. "We're using tech that's never been used before," the director states in the trailer. "No one's shot a concert film on this scale before." The collaboration between Eilish and Cameron as co-directors combines live performance footage with intimate behind-the-scenes moments, offering fans an unprecedented glimpse into the tour's emotional journey.

The trailer opens with a particularly touching scene where Eilish observes fans camping outside a venue from an upper window. When she shares a photo revealing her presence, the crowd below erupts in excitement as more supporters rush to catch a glimpse of their idol. This moment encapsulates the genuine connection between Eilish and her devoted fanbase that the film seeks to capture.

Eilish first teased the Cameron collaboration during her Manchester performances in July, though she remained deliberately cryptic about the project's scope. "Basically, I can't say much about it," she told the Manchester audience. "But what I can say is that I'm working on something very, very special with somebody named James Cameron, and it's going to be in 3D."
