Birds of Tokyo will be the final act on this year’s Channel [V] Island Parties series.

They’ll perform on Tuesday, April 30 ahead of screening on the Foxtel channel at 4pm on Saturday May 4.

"It's a tough balance to marry making cool, intelligent rock music with being a favourite on the radio," says Foxtel’s entertainment & music channels group general manager Fraser Stark.

"Tough but, obviously, it’s not impossible as Birds Of Tokyo has done just that.

“The ARIA and multi-APRA award-winning band have long been favourites on [V] and everywhere else.

“We are chuffed to have them aboard the [V] Island for what should be an uplifting way to close out this season."

iHeartRadio Australia launched a [V] Island Parties pop-up radio station, playing hits from the acts who performed on the series.
