Triple J Pick Of The Week: The Bohicas - XXX

Hailing from Essex in the UK and recently signed to Domino Records, The Bohicas are a fresh face on the English indie rock scene; but after the release of their debut single XXX (along with a string of live dates supporting Franz Ferdinand), it shouldn’t take long for this four-piece to explode into the mainstream. With a sound that sits somewhere in between early The Horrors, Bloc Party and Franz Ferdinand, XXX is an arresting, alluring and ambitious first taste.

The single sits next to their equally awesome b-side Swarm, which together have been turned into a great double-feature raunchy film clip currently circulating the Internet. Keep an eye on these lads in 2014.
