Neil Young
Harvest

I was lucky enough to grow up surrounded by amazing music. Almost every evening we would either hear my Dad play or, if at home, we would have music playing through our vinyl setup. I don’t remember the first time I heard Harvest exactly but it has just been one of those records that has been with me for my whole life. I know every single little moment so well.

My favorite part that I always love hearing, just out of charm’s sake, is in Out On The Weekend when he hits his head on the microphone. There’s this little bump sound and it makes me realise how raw and pure that record is.

The songs are so effortless and just so damn beautiful. No matter where I am, what stage of my life, or who I am with, this record always makes me the feel the same: nostalgic, inspired, happy and at peace.
