MTV Unplugged set to return to Melbourne with Tash Sultana
Tash Sultana becomes the sixth Aussie act to feature on the series.

After sweeping the stage at last week's Rolling Stone Australia Awards, music channel MTV has named Tash Sultana the latest musician to perform on MTV Unplugged.
The Melbourne based artist becomes the sixth Australian act to be featured on the local series, joining Gang of Youths, Amy Shark, DMA’S, The Rubens and Courtney Barnett.
"To be able to play an MTV Unplugged set is pretty special," Sultana said in a statement. "It's something that everyone knows about so I'm really looking forward to being a part of it.
"Also, to do it in my hometown is a massive bonus."
The gender-fluid multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, producer and engineer, has been dubbed one of the hardest working music exports in Australia.
The recent release of sophomore album Terra Firma is coated in Sultana's trademark looped and layered jams with a fusion of soul, funk, R&B, folk, rock and hip hop.
The album - which was recorded, engineered, performed, arranged, and produced by Sultana - debuted at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart and comes four years after debut album Flow State.
