Spicks and Specks’ return blitzes Sunday night ratings
The one-hour special drew in over 900,000 overnight metro viewers.

The return of Spicks and Specks as a one-hour special was a ratings bonanza for the ABC, drawing 905,000 overnight metro viewers and tying with Seven News for top spot of the night.
It topped all the demos: 16—39, 25—54 and 18—49.
The obvious size and breadth of continued viewer support has already led to speculation that the ABC will feature more reunion specials – or indeed, consider a permanent return of the show, which host Adam Hills has indicated he will be behind – especially given the fun the cast and crew had when they taped the one-hour special in Melbourne.
Panellists included Adam Briggs, Ricki-Lee Coulter, Frank Woodley and Denise Scott.
In a night of lacklustre of reality shows as Family Food Fight (422,000) and Game of Games (297,000), two other music-themed shows did relatively well.
All Together Now on Seven ranked #5 for the night with 660,000 overnight metros, while at #11 was Nine’s Queen Days Of Our Lives with 327,000 cashing in on the new Queen biopic in the cinemas.
