This morning, Triple J announced the final five nominees for their 2013 J Award: Australian Album of the Year.

Abbe May’s Kiss My Apocalypse, Boy & Bear’s Harlequin Dream, Horrorshow’s King Amongst Many, Karnivool’s Asymmetry and Northlane’s Singularity join previous announced nominees from the likes of Flume, The Drones, Cloud Control, Jagwar Ma, Big Scary and Rufus.

Video of the Year nominees are announced this Thursday (November 14), while the J Awards will be held the following Friday, November 22 in Sydney. As always, the winners will be broadcast live, from 5pm that evening.
