BMG Australia has shared news of two internal promotions within its record music division.

Craig Redfearn becomes director of marketing and Jodie Feld into the role of A&R manager.

Both will report directly to managing director Heath Johns.

With over 15 years industry experience, Redfearn has overseen campaigns for Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, A Perfect Circle, Rejjie Snow, Karen O & Dangermouse, the Fatboy Slim vs. Australia remix project and The Easybeats reissue & ReBeat campaign.

He's also worked at the Sydney Opera House, D.E.F Management in London, for MTV's Talent & Music Department and in Promotions and Artist Relations at Universal Music Australia.

Feld has spent the last three years at BMG, working across its publishing roster including Peking Duk, Alison Wonderland, What So Not, SAFIA, Didirri, Running Touch and Winston Surfshirt.

She arrived at BMG after working in the sync department at Alberts, and will now focus on the growth and management of domestic recorded music roster.

“We have rapidly established BMG Australia as a premier home for Australian recording artists seeking fairer deals and world-class creative services," said Johns.

"Craig and Jodie have both played a key role in this mission and I’m delighted to announce these much-deserved promotions as BMG continues to take Australian music to the world.”

BMG have added several key publishing and label signings since its Australian launch. Most recently with Bonnie Anderson, Dune Rats and Dope Lemon joining the global independent.

Since 2016, BMG has acquired iconic music company Alberts, music production house Big Bang & Fuzz, and launched partnerships with FremantleMedia for iconic Aussie TV show Neighbours and with Peking Duk for their children's book DJ Duks.
