Bad Bunny Super Bowl Halftime Show Viewing Figures Revealed
The Puerto Rican superstar's historic Super Bowl Halftime Show has set a new global viewership record.

Another day, another new Bad Bunny record.
As per Rolling Stone, the Puerto Rican superstar's historic Super Bowl Halftime Show set a new global viewership record, with more than 4 billion people watching his performance.
NFL, Roc Nation (who co-produced the show), and Apple Music (the show's main sponsor) revealed this week that Bad Bunny's Super Bowl performance had garnered 4.157 billion views in 24 hours. Those figures included the global broadcast numbers, as well as views on YouTube and social media platforms.
The broader viewership stats were released following Nielsen Big Data + Panel revealing that Bad Bunny’s performance drew 128.2 million viewers during the live Super Bowl broadcast in the US, which made it one of the most watched performances in Super Bowl history. That placed it just behind Kendrick Lamar’s show from last year, which drew 133.4 million viewers.
The news follows confirmation of another major record for Bad Bunny, this one in Australia.
Bad Bunny made his live debut in Australia over the weekend, playing in front of almost 90,000 fans at Sydney's ENGIE Stadium across two sold-out shows.
That turnout was enough to set an attendance, according to Live Nation Australia.

“Bad Bunny breaking records in Australia,” the company wrote in an Instagram post. In the accompanying graphic, Live Nation Australia wrote that the massive crowd “mark[ed] the highest number of attendees ever at a concert at ENGIE Stadium in Sydney.”
In a review of the show, Rolling Stone AU/NZ noted that “although only around 0.7 percent of the Australian population speaks Spanish, it’s heartening to see that most of the crowd tonight clearly do, with them regularly reacting to Bad Bunny’s Spanish language-only banter with eruptions of cheers and applause.”
Following his record-breaking Australian visit, Bad Bunny now turns his attention to a special show in Tokyo this weekend (March 7th), as part of Spotify's Billions Club Live series. The show is another landmark trip for him, as it will also mark his live debut in Asia.
He'll then take a break from being on the road before kicking off the European leg of his world tour in May.
