Bad Bunny Sets Attendance Record on Debut Australian Tour

Bad Bunny has set another major record.
The Puero Rican superstar made his live debut in Australia over the weekend, playing in front of almost 90,000 fans at Sydney's ENGIE Stadium across two sold-out shows.
That turnout was enough to set an attendance, according to Live Nation Australia.
“Bad Bunny breaking records in Australia,” the company wrote in an Instagram post. In the accompanying graphic, Live Nation Australia wrote that the massive crowd “mark[ed] the highest number of attendees ever at a concert at ENGIE Stadium in Sydney.”
In a review of the show, Rolling Stone AU/NZ noted that “although only around 0.7 percent of the Australian population speaks Spanish, it’s heartening to see that most of the crowd tonight clearly do, with them regularly reacting to Bad Bunny’s Spanish language-only banter with eruptions of cheers and applause.”

Bad Bunny has enjoyed a stellar start to 2026, including his standout performance at the Super Bowl in the US and earning his first-ever solo No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
He closed out last year by being revealed as the most-streamed artist globally on Spotify for 2025, accumulating a staggering 19.8 billion streams throughout the year.
The Latin artist even dethroned Taylor Swift, who had held the coveted top position for two consecutive years.
The achievement marked Bad Bunny's return to familiar territory, having previously dominated Spotify's annual rankings in 2020, 2021, and 2022.
Following his record-breaking Australian visit, Bad Bunny now turns his attention to a special show in Tokyo this weekend (March 7th), as part of Spotify's Billions Club Live series. The show is another landmark trip for him, as it will also mark his live debut in Asia.
He'll then take a break from being on the road before kicking off the European leg of his world tour in May.
