Shakira Breaks Major Tour Record for Latin Artist
Shakira has officially set a Guinness World record for the highest grossing tour by a Latin artist ever.

Shakira has set a major tour record.
As per Billboard Boxscore, the iconic Colombian singer's La Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour grossed $421.6 million dollars and sold 3.3 million tickets across 86 shows, which means she's officially set a Guinness World record for the highest grossing tour by a Latin artist ever.
Luis Miguel previously held the record for his 2023-2024 tour, which grossed $409.5 million.
Shakira kicked off her tour in Brazil last year, later bringing it to stadiums around the world. Her touring isn't done yet, with dates still to come throughout 2026.
Shakira discussed her tour record in an interview with Billboard. “The music industry has grown so much compared to what it was when I started my career,” she said.
“Breaking this record is a new milestone for me, considering that there are so many great artists who historically have toured in Latin America & Spain,” she added. “After a 30 year career, that took so much effort and met so many challenges, to be living this amazing moment is unbelievable.
“I can only be grateful for the loyalty and passion of my fans, who give meaning to everything I do, and without them none of this would be happening. Without a doubt, they are the best fans in the world.”

Shakira isn't the only artist to enjoy a big month on Billboard Boxscore.
Bad Bunny topped the publication's monthly Top Tours chart, which launched in 2019. He topped the chart with the first reports from his Debí Tirar Más Fotos tour.
The December dates of his world tour, which kicked off in November, grossed $99.1 million and sold 633,000 tickets, making him the highest-grossing and best-selling touring act of the month.
Bad Bunny was previously tied with Beyoncé, Coldplay, and Elton John for the most time atop the tally since it launched in 2019, each at seven months. His December win, however, pushes him to the front with a new record of eight.
