With ARIA holding its 28th annual Awards this November, the trade group has encouraged both members and non-members to submit their recordings for consideration.

Artists, record companies, CD distributors and manufacturers are all encouraged to submit music however those who aren’t currently members have been given a cut-off date of June 30 to join ARIA if they would like to enter recordings for the 2014 ARIA Award nominations.

The membership applications will be reviewed by the ARIA board.

All recording submissions for the Awards nominations are peer-voted by a judging academy of over 800 members from the music industry including retail, radio and TV professionals, journalists and music critics, television presenters, concert promoters, agents, ARIA member record companies and past ARIA winners.

Non-members who wish to join ARIA can view details on membership criteria and access the application form in the Members section at www.aria.com.au

ARIA Members can expect to receive information on the 2014 ARIA Awards criteria and nomination process during July 2014.
