Alicia Keys is the first international act to be confirmed for the 27th ARIA awards, held Sunday December 1 at The Star Event Centre, Sydney. Her televised appearance, performing her hit Girl On Fire and new single Brand New Me, sets up the launch of her Australian tour with John Legend.

Denis Handlin AM, ARIA Chairman said: “We are absolutely delighted to have the amazingly talented Alicia Keys join us to celebrate the ARIA Awards. Alicia is an incredible artist and we look forward to a very special performance from her at the ARIAs.”

The 14-time Grammy winner joins Australians Flume, Tame Impala, Birds of Tokyo, Vance Joy, Bliss N Eso, Jessica Mauboy, Samantha Jade, Sheppard, The Potbelleez, Stafford Bros and Alison Wonderland.

Tickets for the awards at The Star are sold out. But music fans can watch the event from the David Jones red carpet on GO! from 7.30pm on the night, or stream highlights from awards partner Rdio the next day on onrdio.com or from its free Rdio app.
