AEG Presents Taps Frontier Touring CEO Dion Brant
In his new role, Brant will spearhead AEG Presents’ ongoing growth, development and a footprint throughout the region.

Dion Brant is moving on up in the concerts world.
With immediate effect, the Frontier Touring CEO is appointed President and CEO of AEG Presents Asia Pacific, with responsibilities for leading the live music giant’s concert business operations across the region.
Melbourne-based Brant will continue in his roles with Frontier Touring, both as CEO and on the company’s board of directors, and reports to Adam Wilkes, President and CEO of AEG Presents Europe and Asia Pacific.
In his new role, Brant will spearhead AEG Presents’ ongoing growth, development and a footprint throughout the region.
“Dion is a highly respected executive who has played an integral role in our success,” comments Wilkes. “His leadership at Frontier has been transformational, proving he’s a steady hand capable of guiding our business into the future. I couldn’t be happier to name Dion to this position.”
Brant’s promotion comes on the heels of Billboard Magazine’s 2025 Power Players list, in which he’s saluted for his work driving stadium tours for Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney, Foo Fighters and more.
“Despite the myriad challenges Australian concert promoters face, Frontier Touring continues to impress,” he told Billboard, adding Frontier Touring “has also been instrumental in increasing country music’s touring footprint Down Under, promoting major names such as Morgan Wallen, The Chicks, Lainey Wilson and Luke Combs — the lattermost is already slated to return in early 2025.”

Wilkes, the US-born president/CEO of AEG Asia Pacific, and chairman of Frontier Touring, also appeared among international concert promoters in the Billboard list.
Also, Frontier Touring won for best promoter at the inaugural Variety Live Biz breakfast in June 2024, where Brant was on hand to collect the honours.
“I’ve worked closely with Adam for over a decade and have first-hand knowledge of the exceptional team he has built in AEG Presents’ Asia Pacific operations. And of course, our incredibly talented group at Frontier gives me the ability to split my time and take on this extra responsibility with the confidence that we’ll continue to lead the Australia and New Zealand markets,” says Brant on his elevation.
“I look forward to getting involved and helping to maintain positive momentum from what has been a successful period under Adam’s leadership. This further opens opportunities for us to bring the Frontier Touring and Asia Pacific businesses closer together, sharing insights, building capabilities, and enhancing our offering for artists across the region.”
With this development, Frontier Touring will have another key member of its leadership team within the ranks of its long-term partner AEG Presents, the world’s No. 2 concert business after Live Nation.
Among them, Andrew Spencer who recently relocated from Sydney to London to take on the role of Chief Operating Officer for AEG Presents Europe. And before that, Michael Harrison was tour director at Frontier Touring until 2018, when he was snapped up by AEG Presents, where he now serves as Senior Vice Present, Global Touring, based in Los Angeles.
Frontier Touring, an affiliate of Mushroom Group, formed a strategic joint venture with AEG Presents in 2019, cementing a successful decade-long arrangement on ANZ tours.
