Live Nation Dominates Pollstar’s Rankings For ANZ Promoters
Live Nation towered over the competition in Pollstar's ANZ charts, grossing more than $312 million with upwards of 2.7 million tickets sold.

There’s Live Nation, and there’s daylight, in Pollstar’s latest rankings for concert promoters in Australia and New Zealand.
According to the US live entertainment trade title, Live Nation towered over the competition in its 2025 AUS/NZ Focus Charts, posting total gross of more than $312 million with upwards of 2.7 million tickets sold.
That revenue pile is more than double that of the second-placed TEG Group, at $135 million, with more an 1.6 million tickets shifted.
Frontier Touring, a division of the Mushroom Group, completes the podium with $117.5 million in gross revenue, on 1.1 million tickets sold, good enough for third place.
Independents round out the top five, as Destroy All Lines, producers of the Good Things traveling fest (at No. 4), and Untitled Group, operators of Beyond The Valley, Wildlands, and the team behind Dom Dolla’s record-breaking 2024 run (No. 5), make an impact.
The top five alone sold nearly 7 million tickets combined and generated close to half a billion dollars.

Citing the whopping numbers put up by Ed Sheeran, Pink and others, Australia “is continuing to consolidate its reputation as a touring destination,” according to Pollstar’s second annual Impact International — Australia and New Zealand special, presented by Venues NSW.
The top five tours for the year-long reporting period in Australia and NZ, according to Pollstar, collectively moved over 1.87 million tickets. Coldplay’s domestic Music of the Spheres run tops the list with $85 million gross and 723,000 tickets solid, ahead of jaunts by Luke Combs, Pearl Jam, Travis Scott and The Weeknd.
The special includes a feature on Live Nation Australasia chairman Michael Coppel; a focus on Perth’s music scene; Australia’s export markets; the state of country in the Great Southern Land; ANZ market recaps; the top venue charts and more.
Pollstar's 2025 Australia & New Zealand Special is published in the September issue.
