Ed Sheeran Expands 2026 Stadium Tour
Promoters Frontier Touring and MG Live confirm new stadium shows for Perth, Sydney, Melboune and Brisbane, "due to overwhelming demand."

Ed Sheeran's next stadium tour of Australia and New Zealand just got bigger.
As previously reported, the British pop superstars Loop Tour will visit venues in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Adelaide in the first quarter of 2026.
Promoters Frontier Touring and MG Live today confirm new stadium shows for Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, "due to overwhelming demand by fans."
With the addition of those four new dates, Sheeran's itinerary swells to 15 dates.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, July 29th, at staggered times, with the Frontier Member pre-sale beginning on Monday, July 28th.
The Loop Tour will support the release of his forthcoming album, Play (via Warner Music), due out Friday, September 12th.
Play houses the singles “Azizam”, “Sapphire”, and “Old Phone”, and is described as “an explorative, technicolour pop album that captures the fun, chaos, and heart of an artist reinvigorated by life and travel.”

Sheeran always comes to play.
On his last visit to Australia, in early 2023 for + – = ÷ X Tour (pronounced The Mathematics Tour), Sheeran established several new marks at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, with 105,000 fans watching on for night one, a then-national record for a ticketed concert.
On the second and final night at the MCG, the “Shape Of You” singer set the record straight once more with 109,500 Sheerios filing through the gates.
When he previously made it to these parts for his 18-date 2018 Divide swing of ANZ, more than 1 million fans caught the action. That box-office feat finally removed Dire Straits’ 1986 Brothers In Arms trek — and its estimated 950,000 tickets sold — from the record books.
Also, that run set a new mark for the most stadium shows on one trans-Tasman tour, surpassing AC/DC's previous record of 14 shows.
Total career ticket sales across Australia and New Zealand exceed 2.5 million, Frontier Touring reports.
With Play, Sheeran will hope to keep his perfect chart streak alive. His seven studio album releases to-date have all led the ARIA Chart.
