Amy Shark’s red hot run on Australian radio has earned new single ‘I Said Hi’ a spot at #2 on the latest TMN Hot 100 airplay chart. Shark is now the highest-charting Australian act since Betty Who’s ‘I Love You Always Forever’ went to #1 in September 2016.

Shark has shot up 48 spots in two weeks as commercial continues to grow fond of her increasingly palatable pop sound. The single is also her most successful single on the chart to date. Last week, Shark matched the peak position of breakthrough single ‘Adore’ (#8).

Meanwhile, Rudimental’s six week long reign on the TMN Hot 100 has come to an end, dropping to #4 this week. Moving up into pole position is Noah Kahan & Julia Michaels’ collab ‘Hurt Somebody’.

The step marks both Kahan and Michaels’ first #1 on the chart, and the first Universal-released single to top the chart since the remix of Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee’s ‘Despacito’ ft. Justin Bieber hit the summit in July 2017.
