ARIA Singles

The Chainsmokers will likely hold onto #1 for a third week in a row with Closer ft. Halsey as there is no immediate threat in the Top 3.

Betty Who will enter the Top 10 however. Her track I Love You Always Forever is currently at its debut spot of #9.

Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa & Imagine Dragons, X Ambassadors, Ty Dolla $ign & Logic’s Sucker For Pain will enter the top bracket as well, currently at #12.

We’re at the end of the long streak of high debuts taking the Singles chart this week. The highest expected entry is Hailee Steinfeld’s Starving, which will debut somewhere in the Top 40 followed by Calum Scott’s Dancing On My Own in the 50.

ARIA Albums

Frank Ocean’s long awaited (and long-hyped) sophomore album Blonde came out last week and is now looking at a #1 debut. The follow-up to his critically acclaimed Channel Orange will be his highest charting album to date, with the previous peaking at #9 in 2012.

The only album set to challenge him is Ball Park Music’s Every Night The Same Dream. The indie heavyweights last charted with 2014’s Puddinghead which peaked at #2, a position it’s looking like they’ll match with this new album. Drapht’s Seven Mirrors is on track for a Top 5 debut. The Top 10 will see entries from Roy & HG’s This Sporting Life and John Williamson’s His Favourite Collection.

More metal hits the chart next week with Sabaton’s The Last Stand on track for a Top 20 debut.

Meanwhile, David Brent’s Life On The Road (Ricky Gervais’ latest opus) will enter the Top 30 followed by Lindsey Stirling’s Brave Enough in the Top 40.
