Digital Chart Wrap: Sheppard vs. Sia

Sheppard just won’t back down, it would seem. Their track Geronimo is still at #1 on iTunes after three weeks, and it doesn’t look like it plans to move anytime soon - unless of course Sia or David Guetta topple it. Geronimo has moved up one spot in the Shazam 100 to #2, also debuting at #7 in what is its first week on the Spotify chart.  We will most likely be seeing this song in the Top 3 of every chart next week. Coming in at #2 on the iTunes 100 is Sia and her single Chandelier. The track is sharing success across the Shazam chart, placing at #1. The song has yet to place in the Spotify 20, however we will most likely see its debut in the coming weeks. The contagious Wiggle is sitting at #3 on the iTunes chart this week. Derulo’s track, featuring Snoop, also debuted at #7 on the Shazam chart this week. The track hasn’t made an appearance on the Spotify chart thus far. There are not that many big movers this week, the most notable movement being  Chet Faker’s Talk Is Cheap jumping from the bottom spot of #20 to #6 this week on the Spotify chart, no doubt a result of his current ARIA #1 album.  There have been a few high entry points in the Shazam chart however: Stolen Dance by Milky Chance entered the Shazam chart at #18; One Republic’s Love Runs Out entered at #21; and the Justice Crew’s new single Que Sera debuted at #32.
