Chart Wrap: Zayn debuts at #1, Lukas Graham holds Singles

Danish pop band Lukas Graham hold #1 on the TMN Hot 100 for their fourth week with 7 Years, though Fifth Harmony are now right at their heels with Work From Home ft. Ty Dolla $ign inching closer at #2 from #3.

Selena Gomez hits #3 up from #5 with Hands To Myself while Mike Posner breaks into the Top 10 with I Took A Pill In Ibiza at #7 from #12. Kiiara makes for the last notable change at #8 from #11 with Gold.

Meghan Trainor’s No moves ever closer to the Top 10 at #11 from #16 on its fourth week in the chart.

At #32 and #33 are notable movers. First up is Alessia Cara’s Wild Things which moves from last week’s debut point of #60. Tinie Tempah’s Girls Like ft. Zara Larsson takes #3 from #43 on its third week in the chart. Most moved this week is close by at #36 with The Chainsmokers’ new monumental single Don’t Let Me Down ft. Daya, which moves from its debut point of #73, a total of 37 places.

One debut makes it into the Top 50 in the form of Gnash’s I Hate U I Love U ft. Olivia O’Brien, while DNCE’s Cake By The Ocean re-enters at #50 following a big push from commercial.

ARIA Singles

Lukas Graham’s 7 Years spends seven weeks in a row at #1 on the ARIA Singles chart and leads ahead of a largely stagnant Top 5. Mike Posner’s I Took A Pill In Ibiza hits #5 up from #12, hitting the Top 5 in its fifth week in the chart. Sia sees a return to the Top 10 at #6 with Cheap Thrills up from #11, beating its previous peak of #8.

The Chainsmokers hit #13 with banger Don’t Let Me Down ft. Daya up from #25 on its third week in the chart, while Disturbed’s rendition of The Sound Of Silence moves up to #15 from #23.

ARIA Albums

Zayn’s debut solo album Mind Of Mine takes the top debut on this week’s ARIA Albums chart, entering at #1. It includes the #1 single Pillowtalk as well as tracks It’s You and Like I Would which peaked at #38 and #31 respectively.

Asking Alexandria take the next debut at #4 with new album The Black, marking their first Top 10 entry and third Top 50 appearance. Birdy’s Beautiful Lies makes it in at #10 followed by viking metal lords Amon Amarth at #15 with album Jomsviking.

Joe Bonamassa makes his Albums chart debut at #17 with Blues Of Desperation, as do local party legends The Bennies at #40 with their album Wisdom Machine.
