Hot 100

Justin Bieber sits atop the Hot 100 for his fifth week in a row with What Do You Mean?, his longest running #1 on the chart. Robin Schulz enjoys a strong move up to #2 from #8, also attaining his highest peak whilst Ellie Goulding edges closer to the top at #5 from #7. The Weeknd sees a new Top 10 single with The Hill making the move into the bracket from #12.

Just outside the Top 10 is Rudimental’s Lay It All On Me featuring Ed Sheeran, which lands at #11 from #24, narrowly missing out on the top bracket. Disclosure’s Magnets featuring Lorde makes it into the Top 20 at #20 from #28 whilst Rufus’ Like An Animal breaks #58 from #71. Most moved this week is Fetty Wap’s 679 featuring Remy Boyz. It moves to #48 from #62 for a total of 14 spots.

No new debuts take place in the Top 50 though Lost Frequencies’ new single Reality comes very close at #55. DNCE’s Cake By The Ocean enters at #59 and 5 Seconds Of Summer’s Hey Everybody comes in at #73.

ARIA Singles

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis hold #1 on the ARIA Singles chart for another week with Downtown now clocking up three weeks at the top. No movement occurs until #5 with Drake’s Hotline Bling moving up one from #6. Replacing him at #6 is a new debut from X Factor contestant Cyrus Villanueva with a cover of Chris Isaak’s  , following his performance of the track last week. Rudimental breaks into the Top 10 from o#11 with Lay It All On Me featuring Ed Sheeran and is now just four spots shy of their previous best with Feel The Love which peaked at #13 in 2012. Dawin’s Dessert continues to see success across the charts with a move up to #8 from #17, a new peak for the track and the rapper himself. Fetty Wap’s 679 featuring Remy Boyz enjoys a high re-entry at #27 after dropping out in recent weeks.

ARIA Albums

It’s a #1 debut for Boy & Bear’s Limit Of Love this week, their second to date following previous #1 Harlequin Dream and marks the tenth Australian album to take #1 on the ARIA Albums chart this year. While triple j’s Like A Version 11 continues to sell strong, falling to #2, Selena Gomez’s sophomore album Revival debuts at #3. City & Colour takes the next entry at #5. Jess Glynne sees a big jump to #10 from #40 with I Cry When I Laugh, no doubt benefitting from her recent Australian promo tour. At #12 is the independent debut from Reece Mastin’s Change Colours which follows 2012’s Beautiful Nightmare, which peaked at #3.
