Ariana Grande just posted her sixth Top 5 single on the TMN Hot 100 Airplay chart in the form of Social House collab ‘boyfriend’.

The track jumped 23-4 this week, courtesy of airplay boosts across Nova and Hit’s national network. It’s also the fifth biggest mover on the chart this week.

Surprisingly, Grande has never landed an airplay #1 in Australia, albeit coming very close on several occasions.

‘Problem’, ‘Side To Side’, ‘no tears left to cry’ and ‘thank u, next’ all peaked at #2, while 2014’s ‘Bang Bang’ with Jessie J & Nicki Minaj reached #4.

Grande’s hopes of a #1 Hot 100 single earlier this year may have suffered as a result of a heavy release schedule.

With no news of further singles in the near future, Grande could break her duck with 'boyfriend', especially if Guy Sebastian’s ‘Choir’ and Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello’s ‘Senorita’ fail to sustain their current momentum.
