A new campaign from Menulog includes a music-video style TVC with Snoop Dogg.

The online food and beverage ordering app first teased the campaign last month, with the US rapper performing a jingle about burgers, chicken wings and fried rice.

The 60-second spot is the hero of Menulog's new Dogg’s Diner campaign, allowing Aussies to order from a menu of classic American food approved by the musician himself.

Australians will also be able to order dishes from Snoop Dogg’s 2018-released cookbook From Crook to Cook until July 3, via the Menulog app.

“People said it could never be done – a Menulog track that you can get down to," Dogg said.

"The original was a great track but it’s had its run, it needed to upgrade. That’s why they brought me in, to put some spice on it.”

Dogg’s menu also highlights some of Australia’s favourite American-inspired restaurants, including Milky Lane, Down N’ Out, Meet Patty, Chimek and Nordburger.

Simon Cheng, Menulog chief marketing officer, said Australians could use a bit of light entertainment and some delicious comfort food during the current crisis.

"There was no better way to mark our partnership with Snoop Dogg than giving our customers across the country the chance to enjoy some of the Dogg’s best dishes," Cheng said.

The campaign was created by McCann London for Menulog’s parent company Just Eat and modified to suit seven markets around the world, including Australia.
