Snoop Dogg Confirmed as 2025 AFL Grand Final Headline Act
US rap legend Snoop Dog will headline the Telstra Pre-Game Entertainment at the 2025 Toyota AFL Grand Final at the MCG.
Snoop Dogg will bring his West Coast swagger to Australia this year, headlining the Telstra Pre-Game Entertainment at the 2025 Toyota AFL Grand Final at the MCG.
The hip-hop icon joins a star-studded list of past performers, including Katy Perry and Robbie Williams.
It's a major booking for the AFL: from "Gin and Juice" to "Drop it Like It's Hot", Snoop Dogg brings a plethora of hip-hop anthems to the Grand Final, having been a fixture of pop culture and music for over 30 years.
His Grand Final set will mark his first-ever live appearance at the MCG in what promises to be one of the most memorable pre-game shows in AFL history.
"The Toyota AFL Grand Final is the biggest event on the Australian sporting calendar — and this year, it just got a whole lot bigger," says AFL CEO Andrew Dillon.
"Snoop Dogg is a pioneer, a performer, and a true entertainer. he's played to packed stadiums around the world — but we think 100,000 fans at the MCG might just be his most iconic crowd yet.
"We want Toyota AFL Grand Final Day to be an unforgettable celebration of footy _ and beyond the four quarters of the match, a celebration of culture, energy, and entertainment. Snoop fits that brief better than anyone.

Snoop also shared his excitement at the headline slot.

Despite last year hosting pop superstar Katy Perry, Mushroom Group CEO matt Gudinski thinks Snoop's set might be the biggest performance yet.
"The AFL Grand Final is the crown jewel of Australian sport and each year they continue to raise the bar in world-class entertainment and 2025 is no exception," Gudinski said.
