Warner Music and Sony Music have struck two separate licensing deals, spanning two different markets.

Warner Music Russia will import, press and distribute the Sony Music catalogue (physical only) in Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. Sony will continue to control its own marketing and digital releases in this region.

Conversely, Sony Music Entertainment India will now distribute Warner’s catalogue in seven territories: India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bhutan, Maldives and Nepal. EMI/Virgin were the previously distributors of the catalogue in India.
