Vevo and Spotify are among eleven companies in talks with photo and video messaging application Snapchat.

The streaming juggernauts are allegedly in negotiations for the app’s new ’discovery’ section, which will serve its users news, music audio and videos. Digital media and marketing website Digiday obtained a mockup of the integration.

While Vevo and US-based TV channel ESPN have confirmed their involved in the app overhaul, Spotify and media publications like Buzzfeed, CNN, National Geographic, Time Inc. (People magazine) and Hearst (Cosmopolitan magazine) are yet to confirm their involvement. TMN reached out to Spotify Australia, who said they were unable to comment.

Snapchat markets itself as a way of private correspondence; photos and videos “disappear forever” after they’re viewed for an elected time. It’s believed content from the aforementioned will ‘disappear’ in a similar fashion.
