triple j re-shuffle: Milsom returning, Fricker back on lunch, Alex Dyson leaving (again)

triple j announced some on-air changes, leading with Veronica Milsom returning from maternity leave.

She reunites with Lewis Hobba on their drive show from Monday, July 23.

Milsom says, “I can't wait to be back at triple j. For me, the sooner I exchange baby spew rags for tune rags the better.”

Gen Fricker, who’s been filling in on drive, returns to her regular lunch shift on July 23.

However, she will remain a guest on the Veronica & Lewis show and will also be working on online comedy content for the broadcaster.

Hobba muses, “If I’d known that Gen joining the show would result in nine months of non-stop savagery and lies about my character I would have flat-out refused to work with her.

“But I’m so glad I didn’t because we’ve had so much fun on and off air and I’m excited that she’s going to keep popping by as a regular guest after 3 pm to keep being a very funny pain in my arse.”

With Fricker returning to the lunch slot, Alex Dyson will vacate the show this Friday.

Weekend brekkie presenter Stacy Gougoulis steps into the slot for the next four weeks.
