Tones And I will be making a number of virtual appearances on the popular gaming platform Roblox over the weekend.

Roblox is an online gaming platform where users are able to create games and play those created by others. The platform has surged in popularity over the course of the pandemic.

The singer will specifically appear in the popular Roblox music game Splash. On Splash, Tones will host a number of meet and greets with fans and roam around a virtual world specifically designed for her. The world will also come with a DJ stage, dancefloor and interactive golf course reminiscent of the one in the music video for 'Dance Monkey'.

On top of the meet and greet, users will be able to download a 'Dance Monkey' sound pack, which they can then use to remix the track and play in the game.

“I’m excited to connect with my fans through Splash and can’t wait to hear how they transform ‘Dance Monkey’ to make it their own," the singer, real name Toni Watson, said in a statement.

"I am so grateful to everyone who has streamed the song and wanted to give fans the opportunity to get creative and showcase their music making skills."

The virtual world launches this Friday, with Tones making in-game appearances at 10am on Saturday and 1pm on Sunday.
