Smallzy

With 43 straight radio survey wins under his belt, Kent 'Smallzy' Small has a proven knack for recognising local music talent. Without further ado, here's the Nova Nights host's top picks for 2019.

Ruel

This guy is only 15 years old - has spent the last few years building up his fan base and playing live shows. Recently won the ARIA for Breakthrough Artist. if his success replicated previous winners like Amy Shark or Iggy Azalea, 2019 will be big.

Morgan Evans

Hello country music! The boy from Newcastle who now calls Nashville home has had a huge 2018 and currently impacting with a song called ‘Day Drunk’. Expect him to dominate the USA in 2019 and beyond.

GRAACE

She’s a Sydney girl who released her first solo song and EP this year. You’d recognise her vocal from Hayden James’ ‘Numb’. Expect to hear her name on more than a few occasions next year.

KIAN

Hailing from country Victoria, this guy is breaking right now. He’s got a new track (the first song he ever wrote) called ‘Waiting’ on playlists now. Fresh from signing with EMI as well in the last few weeks, assume this song will get stuck on radio station summer playlists and by February everyone could know his name.
