Report: Drake has made $100m from Spotify & Apple Music alone

Following Apple Music’s announcement last week that Drake 10 billion lifetime streams on its platform, Music Business Worldwide crunched some numbers about the Spotify streams.

These were the performance of his 168 tracks using data from streaming data site Kworb.

The Spotify streams tallied 13 billion, including the ones on which he appears on other people’s tracks.

Result: MBW estimated that Drake has made $100 million over the years from just Spotify and Apple Music alone.

Drake's monumental numbers have been a hot topic since the release of his latest album Scorpion garnering 132 million streams globally within its first 24 hours on Spotify and 170 million streams on Apple Music within the same period.
