The Queensland Music Awards has announced the live performers for this year's ceremony, as well as the Album of the Year nominees.

Ball park Music's self-titled album, as well as Cub Sport's Like Nirvana, Miiesha's Nyaaringu, and Washington's Batflowers are up for Album of the Year at this year's ceremony. They join a range of Queensland-based nominees across all categories, including Jaguar Jonze, Lastlings, Jesswar, Mallrat, Tia Gostelow and Eves Karydas.

In addition to its Album of the Year nomination, Ball Park Music will also take to the stage at the ceremony on Wednesday, May 5.

In addition, emerging pop singer Sycco, two-time QMA winners MZAZA, rock'n'roll group The Beddy Rays and Platinum-certified hip hop act No Money Enterprise will also perform.

“These five outstanding acts will treat this year’s guests to a truly memorable night. They are such a great representation of the impressive, diverse, world-class talent on offer across Queensland," QMusic CEO Angela Samut said in a statement.

Ball Park Music said a QMA nomination is always a pleasure, which makes the band feel proud.

"Looking down the list of nominees in all categories is all the proof you need to know that Queensland is producing the best music in Australia across the board," the band added.
