Police slammed for needless Club 77 drug raid, which resulted in zero arrests

Club 77 was the target of what has been slammed as a pointless raid on Saturday morning, as roughly 15 NSW Police saw fit to storm the small inner-city club with a sniffer dog at 2am. Despite the fuss, they were unable to make a single arrest

Owner Matty Bicket took to Facebook the day of the 2am raid to express his anger and disappointment, detailing alleged tasering incidents, multiple searches, ejections from the club, and the barring of the headlining act.

"I'm running a fucking business," he wrote, "I pay tax and I work extremely hard to hold onto what we have here to keep a culture, I don't deserve to be bullied and treated like a fucking criminal."
