Parkway Drive nominated for global hard rock award

The Aussie group are up for Best International Live Act at the Kerrang! Awards.

Parkway Drive have been nominated for a global metal award.

The outfit from Byron Bay is the only Aussie act in the running for a gong at the Kerrang! Awards

They’re up for Best International Live Act, with the awards set to take place in London on Wednesday, June 19.

Parkway Drive are up against the likes of Metallica, Fever 333, Mastadon and Ghost.

The Aussie band just wound up its world tour Collapse The World co-headlining with Killswitch Engage.

According to Kerrang! over  40,000 votes were cast for the shortlist.

Up for best British act are Architects, Enter Shikari, Bring Me The Horizon, Iron Maiden and Biffy Clyro.

Vying for Best International Act are Slipknot, Foo Fighters, Metallica, Panic! At The Disco and Rammstein.
