Maggie Collins, an industry veteran best known for her work with Aussie radio stations triple j and 4ZZZ, and as the manager for numerous Brisbane-based bands, has today launched her music services company Morning Belle.

In between juggling a role as BIGSOUND’s Executive Programmer, and managing bands such as the exceptional DZ Deathrays, Maggie Collins has found time to create a new home for her artist management duties and event/venue programming.

“In the eleven years I’ve been working in the industry I’ve learned, I’ve won, I’ve lost, I’ve collaborated and I’ve created a real ethos around how the game should work and it’s time for me to step out and bring it all together with Morning Belle,” said Collins.

“The vehicle to grow projects and make a positive difference in the industry is an exciting thing to be driving and I’m looking forward to taking things to the next level.”

Taking its name from a song lyric by the late Fergus Miller, the company's name is set to serve as a perpetual reminder to always strive for the same levels of integrity and authenticity that Miller had within his music.

Morning Belle is set to be another impressive achievement in Collins' career, which includes work with acts such as John Steel Singers and The Creases, as well an accomplished radio career, including being the music director for 4ZZZ, and an announcer for triple j.
