In the sad aftermath of Chester Bennington's death, fans have been reconnecting with the band's music is a big way, with the streaming and sales sending their records surging back into the album charts, and a record 23 songs into the rock charts.

Now, as Blabbermouth report, all of those plays have earned the band 11 new platinum certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), with some songs receiving their first platinum plaques, while others have now gone multi-platinum.

'One Step Closer', 'Waiting For The End' and 'Leave Out All The Rest' have gone platinum for the first time, while 'What I've Done', 'Bleed It Out', 'Shadow Of The Day', 'New Divide', 'In The End', 'Numb', 'Burn It Down' and 'Numb/Encore' with Jay Z all added multi-platinum status to their resumes.

As Blabbermouth notes, 'What I've Done' (from 2007's Minutes To Midnight) has now gone five-times-platinum, making it the band's most successful song - somewhat surprisingly in the face of mega-popular hits like 'Numb' and 'In The End'.

Their latest album One More Light was their sixth of seven to go to the top of the charts, and saw them equal Metallica in terms of number one albums, just one behind Led Zeppelin and U2.

Bennington was laid to rest in a funeral service last month, and leaves behind his wife Talinda and six children.
