Live Nation Australia Backs Adelaide as 5SOS and Linkin Park Add New Dates
Live Nation Australia says it is investing 'heavily' in Adelaide, as two of its 2026 tours have added dates in the South Australian capital.

Live Nation Australia says it is investing "heavily" in Adelaide, as two of its major 2026 tours have added dates in the South Australian capital.
On Friday, Australia's 5 Seconds of Summer and US heavyweights Linkin Park both confirmed Adelaide shows for their arena tours going ahead in October and March, respectively, which Live Nation Australasia Chairman, Michael Coppel, said is a credit to the city.
“Adelaide has really turned it on lately," Coppel said.
"Passionate fans, packed shows and a buzzing live scene have made the city a solid stop on the Australian touring circuit. That level of support gives promoters real confidence, and it is why acts like Linkin Park and 5 Seconds of Summer are making sure Adelaide is on their next tour.
“Live Nation has invested heavily in the city through major concerts, arena tours and festivals that bring significant cultural and economic value. It is a great result for the local music industry because major tours create work for crews and venues, help sustain the touring pipeline and reinforce Adelaide as a confident and dependable stop. The fans are engaged, the shows perform strongly, and the broader industry is taking notice.”
The news comes after Live Nation announced Next On, a new program aimed at supporting up-and-coming artists in Australia and New Zealand.
Next On will provide developing artists across the two countries with “the access, exposure, and support they need to grow their careers and reach new fans".
