KIAN signs to EMI Music Australia

2018 triple j Unearthed High winner KIAN has signed a new recording deal with EMI Music Australia and Universal’s Republic Records for the rest of the world.

Along with the announcement, EMI has re-released the Victorian teenager’s competition-winning single ‘Waiting’.

The track has already garnered strong radio support. It's currently peaking at #61 on the TMN Hot 100 airplay chart and has been added to triple j and Nova Nights.  

Earlier this year, KIAN inked a deal with Sydney-based booking agency Select Music.

KIAN was a highlight at 2018's BIGSOUND Festival and has also received a J Award nomination.

He is on the bill to perform at Laneway 2019.
