Peking Duk partner with KFC to create Peking Cluk burger

Aussie music duo Peking Duk have partnered with KFC to create 'the ultimate feed' - The Peking Cluk Burger.

The brand said it was an iconic partnership and 'the collab of the decade'.

The burgers are part of the promotional efforts of KFC's Feastival, taking place on Cockatoo Island on Sunday, 13 March.

In addition to Peking Duk, the festival will play host to Baker Boy and Thandi Pheonix, with triple j's Ebony Boadu as MC.

The burgers will be exclusively available, for free, on the island as part of the festival.

They are made with KFC's Original Recipe chicken fillets, a cucumber and spring onion slaw, and a hoisin glaze sauce.

Peking Duk said it was the perfect partnership.

"We're cluckin' stoked to be teaming up with KFC to pair together two of our favourite things - good tunes and good food," they said.

"As lovers of the friend gold, working with KFC to create our own burger really is the dream, plus we can't wait to play our music for you while you're eating the burger - the perfect score for the perfect meal at Cockatoo Island."

KFC's chief marketing officer, Kristi Woolrych, said the fast-food brand would continue to support the local music scene.

"KFC's commitment to the music industry has never been more impirtant, given the pressure the industry has faced in recent years," she saud.

"We're proud and excited to be able to partner with such amazing talent, not only on an incredible gig but to be able to cement our music relationshp with the launch of the first artist collaboration product in Australia."
