Respected industry figure Joe Calitri will oversee Red Bull Records both domestically as well as worldwide.

The LA-based label has named Calitri General Manager, following his three-year stint as International General Manager.

Calitri joined Red Bull Records in 2013 to oversee all international label business. In that time he has spearheaded extensive global album campaigns for Nashville band Five Knives, Ohio metalcore band Beartooth, Glasgow quartet Twin Atlantic, LA electro-rockers AWOLNATION and UK artist Itch, among others.

Prior to Red Bull Records, Calitri spent 14 years in the major label sector as VP of Field Marketing with Island Def Jam, and six years as General Manager of progressive independent label Fueled By Ramen (Twenty One Pilots, Paramore, Panic At The Disco, Fun.).

“Working alongside the tremendous marketing power of the Red Bull brand continues to be a truly unique experience and I believe it is what separates us from traditional record labels,” said Calitri. “I am proud of the progress we’ve made as a world-class global music company over the past few years and look forward to pushing that advancement further in my new role as General Manager.”

Calitri will be based in Red Bull Records’ LA headquarters, reporting to Managing Director, Greg Hammer.

Hammer said in a statement: “Over the last three years, I’ve had the pleasure of working side by side with Joe as he oversaw international operations. In that time Joe has proven to be a huge resource to the company and I look forward to watching him apply his talents to this extended role."
