Promoter magnate Michael Gudinski will tell the story of his 40-year journey to the top of the music industry this November.

Taking place at Mumbrella’s Entertainment Marketing Summit in Sydney on November 10, the Mushroom Group owner will be interviewed by fellow celebrated industry figure, Stuart Coupe.

Coupe, renowned author and the former band manager of the Hoodoo Gurus and Paul Kelly, is behind biography tell-all Gudinski: The Godfather of Australian Rock ’N’ Roll, which was published in July last year.

Mumbrella’s Entertainment Marketing Summit is aimed at marketers working in television, radio, film, publishing, music and the broader entertainment industry, along with their partner agencies.

Speakers include Twitter’s Head of Music and Entertainment Jennie Sager, ARN’s National Content Director Duncan Campbell, Pandora ANZ’s Commercial Director Chris Freel and Universal Music Group’s Global Head of New Business Olivier Robert-Murphy, among others.

Gudinski’s keynote will close the Summit at The Chauvel in Paddington.
