Good Intent has expanded its venue bookings roster, announcing new partnerships with the Burdekin Hotel and Elton Chong.
Marking both a significant step up in scale and the agency's first move beyond the Sydney metropolitan area, the new venues will provide more pathways for artists and given fans the opportunity to experience more live music.
Located at the start of Oxford Street in Darlinghurst, the Burdekin Hotel is a multi-level entertainment hub featuring two band rooms with capacities of 300 and 160, alongside a dedicated 140-capacity space for electronic music. Recently refurbished, the venue represents a major new chapter for live music in the city.
Meanwhile, Elton Chong is a 100-capacity dive bar and dedicated live music space located on High Street in Penrith's CBD.
"We're super excited to step up to the newly refurbished Burdekin Hotel, as well as Elton Chong in Penrith," says Nick Moran, Venue Bookings Director at Good Intent. He described Burdekin as a "complete game-changer" for Sydney's music scene, while said Elton Chong stands out as one of Western Sydney's few dedicated live music venues.
Amelia Vesperman, Venue Bookings Coordinator, added: "Being from Western Sydney myself, it was incredibly exciting coming across Elton Chong in late 2025, and we immediately felt their vision and ethos aligned with ours. With state-of-the-art production and a full in-house backline, we're thrilled to help put the venue on the map as a regular stop for Australian touring artists."
Good Intent previously worked with the iconic Lansdowne Hotel, where it programmed world-class and emerging talent including Fontaines D.C. and IDLES (DJ sets), Tash Sultana (DJ Set), Spacey Jane, Miss Kaninna, No Cigar, Private Function, Yabun Afterparty, Keli Holiday, The Preatures, SXSW Sydney, Phoebe Go, Ocean Sleeper, Don West, Hockey Dad, Aleksiah, Audrey Hobert, Folk Bitch Trio, Medium Build, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, and many more.
