Good Intent Expands Live Programming Roster (EXCLUSIVE)
The music agency will now handle bookings for Bootleggers and The Trocadero Room, both Sydney venues, TMN can exclusively confirm.

Music services business Good Intent is expanding its live programming roster by taking on Bootleggers and The Trocadero Room, both in Eora/Sydney.
The music agency will now handle bookings for Bootleggers, a 200-capacity band room upstairs at Kelly's on King in Newtown, and The Trocadero Room, a 140-cap dedicated space located on Enmore Road, The Music Network can confirm.
Announced today, July 10th, the Good Intent team say they’re “doubling down on enhancing infrastructure” that keeps the city’s music scene moving along.
"We're deeply passionate about creating real pathways for emerging Australian artists - especially at a time when grassroots rooms keep disappearing," explains Good Intent Venue Bookings Coordinator, Amelia Vesperman.
"Small-to-mid sized venues are the lifeblood of our industry. Without them, your next favourite artist might never get a proper launch - or worse, never launch at all,” she continues.
Australia’s most populous city’s live scene, once the envy of the world, “has copped it for years” through a combination of lockouts, lockdowns, cost-of-living pressures, and more. “We're proud to play a part in helping rebuild,” says Vesperman. “These rooms are about giving the community more places to show up, plug in, and grow something special."

Both spaced will enjoy an upgrade. The Trocadero Room is to receive a fresh backline, including Fender amps and an Olympic drum kit, while Bootleggers’ upstairs room will also be fitted with Fender guitar amps, completing a full backline setup with drums, in addition to $15,000 invested in recently-completed works.
Good Intent continues to serve as venue booker for The Lansdowne Hotel, the iconic 300-capacity Chippendale venue that’s recently celebrated 100 years in business.
The venue booking activities are part of a broader Good Intent business which provide services across artist management, press, marketing and label services, and operate the Good Loco photography and videography studio from its Bulanaming/Marrickville-based office.
Its management roster includes Bootleg Rascal, Close Counters, Fangz and Fool Nelson.
Good Intent launched in 2018 and is run by Rob Carroll, Nick Moran and Rick Bridgman and a growing team.
