Entries extended by a week for Vanda & Young Songwriting Competition

If you've been scrambling to get your entry in for the Vanda & Young Songwriting Competition, then the planning gods are truly on your side, as organisers have extended entries by a week, meaning you now have until 22 February, at 5PM (AEDT) to get it sorted.

Winners will receive:

• • • 1st place - A$50,000 thanks to APRA AMCOS, Alberts and BMG. Plus a$A5,000 Show Group travel package.
    • 2nd place - A$10,000 thanks to AMPAL
    • 3rd place - A$5,000 courtesy of media sponsor Seventh Street Media
    • New 'Unpublished' prize - A$5,000 for the best unpublished work.

The judging panel features Daniel Johns, KLP, Montaigne, The Bamboos’ Lance Ferguson, and reps from triple j, Billboard, Universal Music. Winners will be announced in May.
