When Kirin J Callinan enlisted Jimmy Barnes to belt out his trademark high-pitch scream during the bridges of his latest single, he was screaming to be memed.

Naturally, with the all-star featuring lineup of the national treasure, Secretly Canadian signing Alex Cameron and US artist and Kirin J's global tour support (in 2016) Molly Lewis, Big Enough's reception was always going to be as bonkers as the actual song.

So it shouldn't come as a surprise then that the growing online obsession has resulted in a host of hilarious video memes. From scenes lifted from Full Metal Jacket, Jurassic Park, and even The Simpsons, Barnesy's screaming cowboy vocals are something to behold in these new settings.

Fun fact: Kirin J Callinan credited Jimmy Barnes with “screaming” on his latest album, Bravado, which was released in June.

Both Kirin J Callinan and Jimmy Barnes are performing at YesFest, a massive, national concert in support of marriage equality.

Held at Spotless Stadium on Sunday October 29, YesFest will also feature Client Liaison, Killing Heidi, Megan Washington, Nick Cester (Jet), The Preatures and Tkay Maidza on the lineup.

Jimmy Barnes said of his spot on the bill: "When I was asked to do this show I jumped at the chance to say Yes because I believe in marriage equality. Love is love and if you are lucky enough to find the one you love, why should anyone be able to tell you - you can’t get married. It’s a basic human right."
