Gippsland Next Up for Always Live’s Victorian Vibes Series

Always Live's Victorian Vibes - a free pop-up live music series - is rolling deeper into the state's region to hit up Traralgon next.
The announcement comes off the back of a weekend at the Great Ocean Road town of Lorne, where crowds soaked up pop-up performances from beloved Aussie rockers Augie March, popular indie trio Middle Kids and emerging singer-songwriter Azure Ryder, with cafes, bars and public spaces alive with the kind of spontaneous, infectious energy that makes Victorian Vibes so special.
"Lorne was everything we hoped it would be – Augie March, Middle Kids and Azure Ryder were all absolutely incredible, and seeing that town light up around the music was a genuine thrill," said Always Live's CEO Psyche Payne.
Now, the series is heading east to Traralgon: "Victorian Vibes keeps surprising us with just how much these communities embrace the series, and we can't wait to take that energy to Traralgon."
The next free pop-up live music event will take place on Saturday, May 16th in the heart of Gippsland. Traralgon has long punched above its weight as a live music town, making it primed as the next pit stop in the Victorian Vibes schedule.
“This series isn’t just about the incredible artists and amazing locations – it’s also a way to showcase the best of regional Victoria to fans interstate and overseas and making them consider Gippsland for their next holiday," said Minister for Tourism Natalie Suleyman.
“We’ve already seen two epic gigs attract visitors from around the country to Lorne and Ballarat, and we can’t wait to see another show in Traralgon. It’s going to be a huge boost for businesses in the region.”
