2026 AAM Awards Set Date and Location, Entries Now Open

Details for the 2026 Association of Artist Managers (AAM) Awards have been announced.

This year's AAM Awards, presented by White Sky, will take place on Wednesday, April 29th, at Crowbar in Sydney.

Entries for award categories are now open, and will close on Tuesday, March 3rd at 11:59pm AEDT.

AAM Executive Director Maggie Collins shares: “We are excited to announce the return of the AAM Awards! Developing an artist in recent times is more complex, more competitive and more demanding than ever before. It requires an extraordinary mix of creativity, resilience and long-term thinking.

"The AAM Awards are a chance to pause and recognise the managers who, over the past 12 months, have quietly steered careers through that reality, building sustainable pathways for artists, often against the odds. We’re looking forward to uncovering those stories and celebrating the central role managers play in holding together Australia’s music ecosystem.”

The invite-only event will run from 12pm-3pm local time. Food and drink will be provided from 12pm, before the official ceremony begins at 1pm. The ceremony will feature live performances, special guest speakers and presenters.

Six award categories will be presented at this year’s ceremony, with nominees and winners determined by a diverse judging panel of music industry professionals. The categories are:

Manager of the Year - Presented by White Sky
Breakthrough Manager of the Year - Presented by DMT Law Firm
Emerging Manager of the Year - Presented by PPCA
Legacy Award - Presented by Frontier Touring
Community Engagement Award
Patron's Gift Award

The 2026 APRA AMCOS Lighthouse Award will also be presented during the ceremony.

AAM Members can currently enter themselves — or another manager — for the following categories:

Manager of the Year
Breakthrough Manager of the Year
Emerging Manager of the Year
Community Engagement Award

Category finalists will be announced next month.
