Perth indie punk band-on-the-rise and triple j faves, Sly Withers, have announced two new signings.

The first is a record deal with Dew Process/Universal Music Australia.

Co-frontman Blitvich says, “We’re beyond stoked to be jumping on board with Dew Process and joining a roster of acts we love and admire, like Tired Lion, Waax and The Beths.

“We’ve been granted an amazing opportunity and are excited to see where the journey takes us.”

New single ‘Sad Guy’ was inspired in a Laos café by band member Jono Mata about a period of personal growth after a motorbike crash that almost took his life, and a subsequent break up of a relationship.

Sly Withers have also struck a deal with Sydney-based Select Music, repped by Casey O'Shaughnessy.

They head out on a national tour in June which sees them play club shows in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide.
